For a number of years, I had the privilege of working with Australia’s leading disability advocacy organisation, People With Disability Australia, at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. This was an opportunity for members to celebrate Gay pride and be involved in the LGBTQI Community’s biggest and colourful event.
